Vinyl decals are commonly used for advertisements on Windows, Cars and almost any other hard smooth surface. Cut vinyl decals come in three parts: (1) Backing, (2) Vinyl, and (3) Transfer Tape (see diagram). Of these, only the vinyl remains once the sticker is properly applied.
